Circuit de Catalunya, the only racetrack on the 2012 World Championship calendar with 11 F1 days: 8 test days and 3 GP days
Circuit de Catalunya, located next to the city of Barcelona, has already put up for sale the tickets for the two series of Formula One Test Days, to be held from 21 to 24 February and from 1 to 4 March. Fans will be able to watch the Formula 1 single-seaters on a total of 11 days at the Circuit, since in addition to the two test day series, there will be the 3 days of the Gran Premio de España Santander de Formula One, from 11 to 13 May. All of these F1 days turn Circuit de Catalunya into the only racetrack on the 2012 World Championship calendar to host preseason tests and also a Grand Prix. Moreover, the Circuit will serve as a location for the recording of commercial spots of several teams. A true F1 hat-trick for Circuit de Catalunya.
All those who already have their ticket for the Gran Premio de España Santander de Formula One or those who are Circuit Members or Officials, have free admission to all F1 Test Days.
The tickets for the Formula One Test Days are available to be purchased in advance at the Circuit website www.circuitcat.com and during the test days at the Circuit de Catalunya box offices. The tickets for working days cost 15 euros, while the tickets for the weekend cost 20 euros per day. For all those who have not purchased their ticket for the Gran Premio de España Santander de Formula One yet, don't forget that there is a 10% discount when buying the tickets through the usual sales channels before 1 March, and that the tickets include the added value of providing free admission to the Formula One Test Days.
Additional activities with the F1 GP ticket
Holders of a ticket for the 2012 Gran Premio de España Santander de Formula One as well as Circuit Members and Officials attending the Formula One Test Days will be able to feel Formula 1 closer than ever before. Among the activities organised for those days, there will be:
• Autograph sessions by F1 drivers, for a group of fans.
• F1 Track Bus, every day from 17.00 to 18.00h.
• Pit-Lane Walkabout, every day from 17.00 to 18.00h.
• Technical conferences, every day from 17.00 to 18.00h.
Guided Tours during the Tests
There is also the chance to take part in Guided tours during the Formula One Test Days: three groups per day, for 70 euros per person. The places visited during the tours are: race control, briefing room, podium, media centre, a tour around the service tracks and the paddock. Tickets are available at www.circuitcat.com and during the test days at the box offices of the Circuit.
